Presented during the same time as State Of Mind, a solo exhibition at Monterroso Gallery in Houston, this installation was a manifestation of turning my meditation practice towards our spiritual and conscious connection to the planet. Within the 10’ x 11’ space of Tank Space Houston, I created a meditation room presented as a root system. Walls and ceiling were covered in paintings on fabric and small sculptures made of wire, felt, and organic materials. The root system was both made and found organic material.
